Inauguration of New Tailoring Class Empowers Women at Don Bosco ITI College, Bidar
An inauguration program for the new Tailoring Class was held at Don Bosco ITI College, Bidar, on 29th October 2025. This batch consists of 30 students. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guests, Rev. Fr. Steevan L., Director of Don Bosco Bidar, and Rev. Fr. Mathew, Principal of Don Bosco ITI College, Bidar.The program began with a prayer song, followed by the lighting of the lamp ceremony, symbolizing the beginning of a new journey towards learning and empowerment.
In his address, Rev. Fr. Steevan L. appreciated the initiative and encouraged the women participants to be self-reliant and build a bright future through skill development. He emphasized the importance of vocational education in promoting women’s empowerment and independence.
Rev. Fr. Mathew also spoke on the occasion, appreciating the efforts of the tailoring students, especially those coming from distant places to pursue their training. He motivated them to continue learning with dedication and enthusiasm.
The students are participated enthusiastically in various cultural programs, including dance performances, songs, speeches, and an inspiring skit that highlighted the importance of women’s empowerment and self-dependence.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, chief guests, and all participants for making the event a grand success.
The inauguration of the tailoring class marked a new beginning for many women, inspiring them to step forward confidently towards a better and self-sustained future.
