Inauguration of the House System and Investiture Ceremony 2023-2024 at Don Bosco School Angamaly
The inauguration of the house system and the investiture ceremony marking the formation of the new “Student Council” for the academic Year 2023-24 was solemnly inaugurated with grandeur at DON BOSCO CENTRAL SCHOOL, ANGAMALY on 21st June 2023. At 10 am. The ADGP Shri S. Sreejith IPS, the Transport Commissioner of Kerala was the Chief Guest for the ceremony. He was escorted by the RTO of Ernakulum Mr. G Ananthakrishnan along with Rector and Manager Rev. Fr. Joseph Elavanal, the Principal Rev. Fr. James Puthenparambil, Administrator and Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Jilson Erikkat, Bro. Philip and the PTA President Mr. Praveen G Nair.
The grand ceremony commenced with a prayer dance. The Principal Rev. Fr. James Puthenparambil welcomed and introduced the Chief Guest and the dignitaries present. Shri. S Sreejith IPS along with the other dignitaries present, inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
The Chief Guest recommended the students to put hours of efforts into their academics and to keep away from drugs and traps of social media. He also advised the student council to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.
The Rector and Manager presided over the programme and conferred the sashes and badges to the student council members.
Master Benzo Benno, the Head Boy and Kumari Jovitta John the Head Girl and the Captains and Vice Captains took the oath of their respective offices. The students from the various houses put up a colourful performance. The ceremony came to a close with the vote of thanks by the co-ordinator Ms. Shila Ramji.
