Inter Religious Christmas Celebration at Thiruvananthapuram

Aiming at religious harmony, together with the general public, Trivandrum Don Bosco Veedu Society organized an Inter Religious and People’s Christmas celebration – Shanthidoodh 2021, on 22nd December 2021 at 6:00PM at Gandhi Park, East Fort. The programme was presided over by the Honourable minister of Transport Mr. Antony Raju and was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Christudas (Bishop, Latin Arch Diocese, Trivandrum). Rev. Mar Thomas Tharayil (Bishop, Syro – Malabar Catholic Arch Diocese Changanasery) Rt. Rev.Dr. Joseph Mar Barnabas (Suffragan Metropolitan, Mar Thomas, Thiruvananthapuram), Swami Gururethnam Jnana Thapaswi (General Secretary of Santhigiri Ashram), V.P.Suhaib Moulavi (Palayam Imam), Lt.Col.Daniel.J.Raj (Chief Secretary, Salvation Army), Fr.Jiji Kalavanal and Fr.Saji Elambasseril spoke on the occassion. ‘Shanthidoodh – 2021’ was honoured with the presence of political and religious leaders. The main highlights of the programme were Christmas messages, Christmas Carols, Maargam Kali, Group Dance, Santaclaus, and Christmas Band. Prayers were conducted for world peace.
