International Women’s Day celebrated at Kollam

International Women’s Day was celebrated under the leadership of TMS and FCDP at Rotary Club Hall, Kollam. Smt.Prasanna Ernest, Honourable Mayor of Kollam inaugurated the event. In the event which was presided over by Smt. Agnes John, President TMS Smt. Sunitha Vimal delivered the keynote address. Dr.Sinda H Mendez, Chairperson FCDP welcomed the gathering. Sri.Tomy N, Ward Councilor of Pallithottam, Sri. Sajeev Soman, Ward Councilor of Udayamarthandapuram, Sri.Vipin Kumar, President, Rotary club, Thankassery and Sr. Mary Mathew spoke on the occasion. E-Auto licenses were distributed to 14 women. Students of Don Bosco College, Kottiyam staged a drama based on the problems of women. Dance performance by the members of TMS and various other competitions for women added colour to the function.
