International Yoga Day Celebrations in Don Bosco School Yadgir

The celebration commenced with a mass gathering of all the students of Yadgir Taluk in the District Sports Stadium opposite to our campus. The whole event was well organized and executed by the education department for which DC and important political personnel also took an active part by way of their presence and encouragement. Thousands of students gathered in the stadium and our students took part in the same actively. The Yoga was lead by a famous Guru from 6.30 am to 8.00 am. Though the program culminated in the stadium by eight, we did have an amazing yoga day celebration in the school also, which extended almost 30 minutes along with the school assembly. The well qualified Physical Teachers of our school, with the help of the students made the day, informative, colorful and remarkable.
