Job Fair Organized by Don Bosco Job Placement Network and BREADS

Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), August 27, 2025 – The Don Bosco Job Placement Network, in collaboration with BREADS, Bangalore, organized a Job Fair that brought together 6 reputed companies to offer employment opportunities for young job seekers.

The programme began with a prayer song by Ms. Marina (staff of Don Bosco Job Placement Network) and was compered by Ms. Vinita (staff of Don Bosco ITI KGF). Fr. Joe Tony Previnth, Rector of Don Bosco KGF, welcomed the gathering, while Mr. Venkatesh, Principal of Government ITI, KGF, delivered the inaugural address, encouraging youth to explore new-age courses and benefit from government employment schemes.

A total of 83 candidates registered online and a total of 45 candidates participated in the mela and interacted with the companies, out of which 33 of them were short listed. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Fr. Stephy Francis, who extended gratitude to the companies, Don Bosco Job Placement Network, BREADS, and the staff and volunteers of Don Bosco ITI KGF for their support in organizing the event.
