Make Failures Turning Points: Cine-actor Sibi Thomas at Convocation of Don Bosco College Angadikadavu

Inaugurating the graduation ceremony participated by 300 outgoing students
belonging to 2021-2024 undergraduate and 2022-2024 postgraduate batches at Don Bosco Arts
& Science College, Angadikadavu, Kannur University, cine-actor and Kasargod Deputy
Superintendent of Police, Mr. Sibi Thomas, urged the graduates to be resilient, viewing failures
as turning points.


“Young people should see failures as opportunities for growth and transformation. Life is
normally packed with more shocks than surprises. Optimism and tenacity are the hallmarks of
successful people,” he said.


The ceremony featured a keynote address by Retired Superintendent of Police, Prince Abraham,
who shared his experiences and offered words of wisdom to the students. College Manager Fr.
Dr. Joy Ullattil welcomed the gathering. Principal Fr. Dr. Francis Karackat presided over the
function.


About 140 students who achieved top ranks in Kannur University and those who earned A+ and
A grades were honored with mementos and merit certificates. Around 300 graduates
accompanied by their parents received their graduation certificates from the dignitaries present.
