Massive Tree Planting Drive Launched in Chitradurga: Collaborative Efforts for Vanamahotsava 2023

In view of Vanamahotsava, Mr. Siddaramaiah, honorable Chief Minister, Govt. of Karnataka has launched a drive to plant 1 Crore saplings from July 1 to 7. For this purpose Forest department of Chitradurga under the collaboration CHITHRA Don Bosco, BREADS Bangalore and GHPS & GHS, Bharamasagara organized a tree planting programme on 5th July 2023 at premises of Govt. Higher Primary School and Govt. High School, Bharamasagara, Chitradurga Tq. Mrs. Usha Rani (Divisional Forest Range Officer, Chitradurga), Rev. Fr. Steven Lawrence (Director of CHITHRA), HM of GHPS Mr. Mahesh, HM of GHS Mr. Mubharak, SDMC president Mr. Rasheed, Forest department officers, teachers, students and CHITHRA staff were present in the programme.
