Meeting of Brothers in Practical Training and Studies held at Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore on 05 & 06 July 2025

A two-day meeting for Brothers in Practical Training and Studies was held at the Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore, on 5th and 6th July 2025. The gathering brought together 28 participants for a time of renewal, skill-building, and reflection.

The program commenced on Saturday with a prayer service and formal inauguration, followed by a thought-provoking conference by the Provincial, Fr. Koyickal Jose Thomas. The day’s sessions focused on “Skills in Youth Ministry,” animated by Fr. Mariyavilla Kuriakose, equipping the young Salesians with practical tools for effective ministry. The day concluded with time for confession, the rosary, and personal prayer.

Sunday began with Lauds and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The focus then shifted to the theme “Addictions of the Modern Mind,” addressed in two sessions by Dr. Antony Robert Charles, raising awareness on a pressing issue affecting today’s youth. The final session was a time of general discussion and sharing among the brothers, fostering fraternity and mutual enrichment.

The meeting proved to be a meaningful experience, strengthening the participants in their vocational journey and commitment to Salesian life and mission.
