Membership Day at Don Bosco, Aluva

Don Bosco Youth Centre at Keezhmadu, Aluva, celebrated the membership day on September 2, 2023 at 6.45pm in the Seminary Auditorium. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Br. Bijo Paruvanadiyil, the Director of the Youth Centre welcomed the gathering and Fr. Joy Kaipan, the Rector of Don Bosco Seminary delivered the Presidential address. Mr. Prasad A, the DySP of Aluva Rural, the chief guest of the event addressed the young people and shared a thought-provoking message. The other dignitaries of the event were Sr. Lovely from the Archana Convent, Fr. K. D. Varghese, the Parish Priest and Mr. Assis, the Ward member. They felicitated the gathering. Master Joshua, the secretary of the Youth Centre presented the annual report of the Youth Centre. Prizes were also distributed to children who excelled in various events and activities organized by the Youth Centre in the past year. The highlight of the programme was the oath taking ceremony. This year the youth centre has 104 officially registered members who pledged their oath to the Don Bosco Youth Centre. The formal function had its culmination with the vote of thanks given by Mr. Nixon, the President of the Youth Centre. It was followed by various cultural programs by the Youth Centre members and the Post-novices.
