Mysore Zonal Youth Meet held at Don Bosco Makkalalaya

On August 4th, the youth from the Mysore zone, including representatives from Don Bosco Sreerampura, Our Lady of Velankanni Parish, Don Bosco Makkalalaya, and Don Bosco Prakashpalaya, gathered at Don Bosco Makkalalaya Mysore for their zonal elections. The event was hosted by Fr. Siju, the director of Don Bosco Youth for Mysore zone.The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Fr. Siju welcomed the guests and youth, setting a warm tone for the meeting. Br. Sandesh then animated the gathering with engaging icebreakers and dance, creating an energetic atmosphere. Fr. Varghese, the delegate of Don Bosco Youth Service, addressed the leaders about their roles and responsibilities, while Fr. Uday Kumar, the director of Karnataka Youth, presented the annual report and discussed essential leadership qualities.

The highlight of the meeting was the election of new leaders for the zone. The elected leaders are Monica as President, Joy as Secretary, Ashish in charge of Finance, Madhu overseeing Sports, Febin handling Media, Rani leading Arts and Culture, Anjanlini directing Social Service, and Nisarga managing Spiritual activities. The event concluded with a group photo followed by tea, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Mysore zone’s youth leadership.
