New Basketball Arena Inaugurated at Don Bosco Central School Angamaly,
Don Bosco Central School marked a major upgrade to its sports infrastructure on 30th March, 2026 with the inauguration of the new Basketball Arena in the campus. The arena was blessed by Rev. Fr. Jose Thomas Koyickal SDB, Provincial, at 9 a.m. The Arena was inaugurated by Mr. Anto George, Chief Operating Officer of South Indian Bank. The event was attended by Ms. Rani Zacharias, Regional Head for Irinjalakuda, Ms. Dimple Dixon, Cluster Head for Angamaly, and Ms. Remya George, Chief Manager of the Angamaly Branch of South Indian Bank. The Rector and Manager of the School Fr. Joseph Elavanal SDB was present, along with Fr. James Puthenparambil SDB, the Principal, Fr. Prince Puthanangady SDB, the Vice Rector, Fr. Jithin Chakkimangalath SDB, the Administrator and Vice Principal and Fr. Lijo Chakkalayil SDB. Students, Parents, and Staff Members of Don Bosco Central School also attended the inaugural session. The court was constructed in collaboration with South Indian Bank as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. School authorities expressed gratitude to the bank for its support to the school community.
