One Earth Environment Day & Freshers Day at DBEMS Chitradurga

The Environment Day and Freshers Day was celebrated at Don Bosco English Medium School on 7/6/22.
The chief guest and Manager of DBEMS Fr Saji ,SDB welcomed the new students (250) into the portals of this hallowed institution.

Fr Saji SDB also encouraged the gathering to save our Mother Earth and also to gain more knowledge during their years of schooling in order to be able to lead a better life. Fr. Lawrence the Principal also addressed the students and exhorted that all ought to practice few practical things in life in order to promote environmental sustainability, such as not wasting food, water and electricity, repair and re-suing non degradable material, avoiding plastics, cycling in order to avoid pollution, using home made artefacts and creating a small garden at home. There was also welcoming the freshers with a mono-act on save earth, group dances etc. There were around1180 students and staff present in the program
