PC XVI underway with intense discussions, reflection and moments of fraternity

PC XVI of the Salesian province of Bangalore began the proceedings of PC XVI with the roll call at 11:15 am. This was followed by the presentation of the chapter dynamics by Fr. Previnth, the moderator of the chapter. The State of the Province report was presented in a comprehensive manner by Rev. Fr. Jose Thomas Koyickal, the Provincial. Fr. Provincial presented the developments across the province and sectors while also highlighting areas of growth and those that need special focus.  The approval of the working document  was then sought by the moderator and was passed by the chapter. After lunch the chapter broke out into its various commissions(groups for discussions). Intense reflection and sharing on the working document  ensued over the course of the evening. Light hearted moments of fraternity were seen at the volleyball and basketball games organized for the confreres in the evening. The Good night was given by Fr. Doss Kennedy, Rector DBRC. He highlighted the importance of on going formation and Don Bosco Renewal Centre being a place where confreres could come and participate in various tailor made programmes for their personal growth and renewal.
