Pilgrims Of Hope, Apostles To The Young: First Profession at Don Bosco Padivayal

Mount Don Bosco, Padivayal, witnessed a moment of grace and joy on May 24, 2025, with the First Profession of 20 Salesian novices from three Indian provinces: Kolkata (7), New Delhi (9), and Bangalore (4). The solemn celebration was presided over by the respective provincials—Rev. Fr. Joseph Pauria (Kolkata), Rev. Fr. Davis Maniparamben (New Delhi), and Rev. Fr. Jose Koyickal (Bangalore). On the previous day, May 23, Rev. Fr. Biju Kalapurackal was officially installed as the new Rector and Novice Master.
The new novitiate batch, comprising 22 novices—15 from Delhi, 3 from Kolkata, and 4 from Bangalore—arrived on May 23 and were initiated into the novitiate on May 24 by Fr. Jose Koyickal.
