POPE’S DAY CELEBRATIONS AT DON BOSCO ALUVA

As a sign of renewed fidelity and respect for the Papacy, the Post-novitiate community at Don Bosco Aluva celebrated Pope’s Day on the occasion of the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul.  The community organized a Symposium on the topic “A Decade of Revisioning: Pope Francis and New Direction of the Church.” Rev. Dr. Fr. Sivy Koroth, SDB, Professor of Youth Ministry and Catechetics, Kristu Jyoti College, Bangalore was the resource person for the day. It was an apt moment to look back at Pope Francis’ legacy as he completed 10 years of papacy in March earlier this year. The symposium was followed by a short cultural programme by the post-novices.
