Rectors Meeting Held at Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore

The Don Bosco Provincial House in Bangalore hosted the annual meeting of rectors and those in charge of presences on 27-28 July 2024. The event saw 51 participants, including Father Jose Koyickal (Provincial), Father Shalbin Kalencherry (Vice Provincial), and Father Nedumparambil Joy (Economer).

The meeting began on Saturday at 9:30 AM with a prayer, welcome, and inauguration, followed by a conference by Fr. Koyickal. After a break, Fr. Joe Prabhu SDB led a session on the Child Safeguarding Policy. At noon, Fr. Varghese Kapplikunnel SDB discussed on the Province Youth Ministry. This was followed by a session on Province Matters. The day concluded with prayer and dinner.

Sunday commenced with Morning Prayer and the Holy Eucharist. The day focused on Counselling and Spiritual Direction, with three sessions led by Fr. Sathian Ignatius Ofm. Cap., interspersed with intervals for tea and lunch. The day also included the release of the Province Directory by Rev. Fr. Provincial. A special word of thanks was given to Fr. Shiju the Secretary and Bro. Shaji for printing the directory. The meeting concluded at 4:00 PM with participants departing, enriched by the experience and ready to implement new insights.
