RENEWAL OF PROFESSION AT ALUVA

The community of Don Bosco Aluva witnessed the renewal of 22 clerics which included nineteen clerics belonging to the Province of Bangalore and three brothers belonging to the Province of New Delhi. The Ceremony began with animated morning prayers and was followed by the Holy Eucharist at 7 Am. Fr. Joy Kaipananickal, the Rector, presided over the Mass and Frs. Ottaplackal Sebastian, Ittira Mondoth, and George Andrews Kottiry were the concelebrants. The Rector, Fr. Joy Kaipananickal received the renewal of the profession and Frs. Ottaplackal Sebastian and Ittira Mondoth were the witnesses. The preparation for the renewals began on the previous day, with a day of recollection animated by Fr. Emmanuel Vattakunnel. The day of preparation comprised of a conference talk integrated with the morning prayer, morning talk, confessions, adoration, and time for reflection. The brothers were offered a quality time to make discernment over their life and make commitment to the Lord for the next one, two, or three years. The Renewal Ceremony ended with the Fellowship Breakfast.
