Rural Experience for MSW Students of Don Bosco College Bangalore at Don Bosco Ajjanahalli
Don Bosco Ajjanahalli organized a rural experience camp for the MSW students of Don Bosco College, T.C Palya, Bengaluru. During the five-day camp, the students along with the faculty visited, Ajjanahalli Panchayath, Veterinary Hospital, Primary Health Centre, Anganwadi, Government School. They also conducted a “Livelihood Survey” and did the analysis of it. The students also prepared and presented Participatory rural appraisal (PRA) report.
During the camp the students spent time together, playing, trekking and had a fun filled camp fire. The faculty from Don Bosco College, Ms. Archana coordinated the whole camp. Planning for the camp was facilitated by Fr. Kantharaj Udhay and Ms. Shilpa from Foster care. Trekking to different spots was organised by Fr. Hrudayaraj. The total number of were 12 students plus one faculty member.
