Salesian Co-operators of DBSB celebrates their Anniversary & Salesian Family Day

Though lay collaboration was very much visible in the activities of Don Bosco Sneha
Bhavan, Palluruthy from its inception in 1974, it was formed into a regular (juridical)
Salesian Co-operators only ten years later.
On 12th June Co-operators & their family members, Salesians, Sisters from Valsalya
Bhavan and children from the various centres of Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan came
together at Don Bosco, Palluruthy, to celebrate the 38th Anniversary of Co-operator’s
& Salesian Family Day.
The programme started with Solemn Mass at 4.00 pm, presided over by the Rector
Fr. PD Thomas; followed by a well organised Cultural Programme. A sumptuous,
grand dinner marked the conclusion of the day.
The whole event was orchestrated & executed by the Co-operators under the
leadership of Fr. Rector & Mrs Kochu Thresia teacher, co-ordinator of the Salesian
Co-operators, Palluruthy unit.
