SANKOFA: The Diamond Jubilee Souvenir Released

The Diamond Jubilee Souvenir of Don Bosco School, Irinjalakuda, titled “SANKOFA,” was ceremoniously released today at the Don Bosco Auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. R. Sreekandan Nair, Managing Director of 24 Channel, who unveiled the souvenir. In his address to the students, Mr. Nair emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs and actively fighting against substance abuse.

The first copy of the souvenir was presented to Mr. Dony George Akkarakaran, Chairman of the Souvenir Committee. Renowned journalist Mr. James P.P. also spoke at the event, adding to the occasion’s significance.

Fr. Emmanuel Vattakunnel, Rector and Manager of Don Bosco School, presided over the function. Other distinguished guests included Mrs. Marykutty Joy, Ward Councilor; Fr. Joyson Mulavarickal, Administrator; Fr. Varghese John Puthangad, Spiritual Animator; Sr. Omana V.P., Headmistress of DBLPS; Mrs. Laiza Sebastian, Principal of DBCS; Mr. Hobby Jolly, Convenor; Mr. Telson Kottolly; Mr. Sivaprasad Sreedharan; Mr. Seby Maliekkal, PTA Presidents; and Mr. Siby Paul Akkarakaran, President of the Past Pupils’ Irinjalakuda unit.

The event marked a significant milestone in the school’s history, celebrating its 60 years of excellence in education and community service.
