Sanskriti Sangam Cultural Fest Celebrated with Great Fervor at Don Bosco College Yadgir
The Don Bosco College Auditorium was abuzz with energy and enthusiasm as the Sanskriti Sangam Cultural Fest was inaugurated on July 20, 2024. The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Saji Anachalil SDB, Rector and Manager of Don Bosco institutions Yadgir, as the chief guest.
Dr. Manjunath, a renowned scholar, was the special guest of honor. The festival saw the participation of around 300 people, including students, faculty members, and staff.
The event was skillfully coordinated by the Principal of the college, Fr. Augustine, Vice Principal, Fr. Jith and student representatives. The festival showcased a vibrant display of music, dance, and drama, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of India.
The inauguration ceremony began with a grand procession, followed by a welcome address by Fr. Augustine. Fr. Saji Anachalil SDB, in his inaugural speech, emphasized the importance of cultural festivals in promoting unity and harmony.
Dr. Manjunath, in his keynote address, stressed the need to preserve and promote our cultural heritage. The festival featured a range of cultural programs, including traditional dances, music performances, and skits.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the student representative, followed by a grand finale performance. The Sanskriti Sangam Cultural Fest was a resounding success, and the Don Bosco College community looks forward to many more such events in the future.
