Social justice for all, end the child labor practice

As part of World Anti-Child Labor Day, District Administration with the aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Zilla Panchayat, Labor department, Education Department, Lawyers Association, Department of Women and Child Development, District Labor Planning Society, NGOs, Employer’s Association and Labor Unions held Jata Programme on World Anti Child Labor Day at Ta.Ra.Su. rangamandir, Chitradurga on 12th June 2023. Smt. Manuvalli Premavathi, respected Senior Civil Judge, District Legal Services Authority, Chitradurga, who inaugurated the programme. Rev. Fr. Steven Lawrence (Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco), Labor department, Education Department, Lawyers Association, Department of Women and Child Development, NGOs, Employer’s Association members and staff members of CHITHRA Don Bosco were present for the same and awareness was raised among the public through Jatha.
Then stage programme was held at Ta Ra Su Rangamandir and inaugurated by Respected ADC Mr. T. Javaregowda through lighting the lamp. He said that it is wrong to force children in to labor for various reasons. Then prizes were distributed for children who won the competition of Essay writing, Drawing and Speech competition.
