Sri. Omman Chandi inaugurates KRSMA award function at Don Bosco Puthuppally
Kerala recognized School managements association (KRSMA) organized a function in Don Bosco Higher Secondary school to honour and award the schools which obtained hundred percent results in SSLC and Plus two examinations. About twenty five schools from Kottayam district participated in the event hosted by Don Bosco Higher Secondary school. Sri. Omman Chandi , former chief minister of Kerala gave away the awards. In his inaugural speech, sri. Omman Chandi said that the achievements of Kerala in the field of Education is the result of hand in hand collaboration of both the government sector as well as the private unaided sector. He also said that even in higher education there must be such cooperation between government and private sector. Fr. Tony Cheriyan Valiyaparakkattu SDB received the award on behalf of Don Bosco Higher Secondary school. Sri. Anand Kannasa (State General secretary KRSMA) delivered the keynote address. Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Bersoma O I C (President KRSMA, Kottayam), Sri. M N Soman Nair(Secretary), Sri. Varghese Chako(Panchayath Member), Rev. Fr. Devassy Chirakel (Rector and Manager of Don Bosco Higher Secondary school) felicitated the gathering. Fr. Tony Cheriyan Valiyaparakkattu SDB( Principal, Don Bosco Higher Secondary school, Puthuppally ) gave the reply speech.
