St. Maximilian Kolbe Church Mangalam organises A Day With Seniors Programme

St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Mangalam, celebrated ‘A Day With Seniors’ on July 24, 2022. The morning Eucharistic celebration at 9 am was led by the youth of the parish, followed by a get-together in the afternoon with the elderly to mark the ‘A Day With Seniors’ programme.

The programme was organised primarily for senior citizens above the age of 70 years. The Holy Mass and the sacrament of Confession were arranged for them, followed by an evening of cultural programme where they had the opportunity to express their talents.

Rt. Rev. Dr. James Raphael Anaparambil, Bishop of the Diocese of Alleppey, was the Chief Guest for the programme. Fr. Thomas, Vicar, St. Maxmilian Kolbe Church, presided over the programme.

The programme concluded with dinner and gift distribution to the participants.
