Taj Sultanpur Govt HPS Marks Children’s Day with Community Support

On 14.11.2025, a Children’s Day program was organized at Taj Sultanpur Govt HPS today. The program was started by garlanding the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Don Bosco Institute is taking the lead in organizing this program. The school’s SDMC President, HM, Don Bosco director, Coordinator and staff, school teachers, parents, and children participated in the program. On the occasion of Children’s Day, painting, singing and essay competitions were organized under the Child Safety Net project. Coordinator Mrs. Geeta informed the parents about child rights and violence against children. He said that child safety should start from home and parents should pay attention to their children. The winners of the competitions were awarded prizes by the organization. Later, the school principal told the children and their parents that it is their duty to ensure that they pay attention to their children’s education and attend school every day.
Then the cultural program was started. The children performed patriotic songs and other dances. 170
children and 46 parents, 7 teachers and 6 people from the Dawn organization participated in the program, a total of 229 people.

The school dropouts of Hamal Colony and Kamalnagar area have been re-enrolled in Govt HPS Tajsultanpur School. The parents of those children participated in the program. Therefore, to ensure that the children come to school regularly, a CCG group has been formed including teachers, SDMC, Anganwadi workers, and parents.
