The Alumni Meet: A celebration of our Past and a toast to our Future.
The Alumni Association of Don Bosco Central School, Angamaly, under the aegis of the school administration, organised the Annual Alumni Meet on 28th December, 2024 in the Junior School Auditorium. The meet was attended by 102 alumni from various parts, ranging from those who passed out a few years ago. The registration process was smooth and hassle-free. The event began with a mesmerizing prayer dance by the Past Pupils. A warm welcome was accorded by the Principal, Rev. Fr. James Puthenparambil SDB followed by the Presidential Address by the Vice Rector, Rev. Fr. Prince Puthanangady SDB. Ms. Jayasree Prasad felicitated the gathering in a touching way. Some of our alumni had shared their unforgettable experiences at school. It was heart-warming to see the excitement and joy on the alumni’s faces as they shared their experiences and memories of their time at the school. Alumni were provided with refreshments in between the event. The most emotional moment of the event was when the alumni took a tour of their old classrooms and campus, reminiscing about their school days. After the tour, the alumni had a chance to reconnect with their old classmates and teachers. It was indeed a great opportunity for the alumni to catch up with their old friends, network with each other, and build new connections. Many of them were seen clicking photographs with their former classmates and teachers, capturing the memories of the day. We conducted the election of the office bearers. The Annual Alumni Meet was a grand success, as it provided the alumni a chance to reconnect with their alma mater and with each other. The event was not only a celebration of the school’s legacy, but it was also an opportunity for the alumni to network and to give back to the school in various ways. The event ended with a promise to meet on last Saturday of each year.
