The Provincial Consultation Held at Don Bosco, Kalaburagi

KALABURAGI, 22 August 2026: The Provincial Consultation for the election of the new Provincial was held at Don Bosco, Kalaburagi, under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Biju Michael SDB, Regional Superior of South Asia. The consultation brought together the Salesian communities of Kalyana Karnataka—Kalaburagi, Yadgiri, Devadurga and Bidar.
As part of the preparation, a recollection was preached by Rev. Fr. Vincent Pereira of the Diocese of Gulbarga, helping the confreres prepare themselves spiritually for the consultation.
Fr. Biju Michael briefed the confreres on their role and responsibility in the election process, stressing the importance of prayer, discernment and responsible participation in choosing the new Provincial.
The programme concluded with the release of the DBCSA (Don Bosco Centre for Social Action) Annual Report Magazine, highlighting its key social initiatives and achievements.
