Book Release: “Flora of Don Bosco Sreerampura, Mysuru”

On 22 May 2025, Fr. Jose Thomas Koyickal, Provincial of the Sacred Heart Province of Bangalore, released the book titled “Flora of Don Bosco Sreerampura, Mysuru”. Authored by Br. Sandesh Deshappa, the publication is the fruit of his dedicated academic research and offers a comprehensive scientific documentation of the plant species found on the Don Bosco campus at Sreerampura, Mysuru. Through meticulous study and detailed observation Br. Sandesh has produced a valuable resource that underscores the ecological richness and biodiversity of the region. More than a scholarly accomplishment, the book stands as a significant contribution to environmental awareness and conservation. The book release took place after the celebration of the Renewal of Religious Profession at Don Bosco, Mysore. Heartfelt congratulations to Br. Sandesh for this remarkable achievement.
