Inauguration and Blessing of New Parking Facility and Office Complex at Don Bosco, Lingarajapuram

On Sunday, the Don Bosco Community in Lingarajapuram celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration and blessing of its newly constructed parking facility and renovated office complex. The ceremony took place immediately after the 5:30 p.m. Holy Mass.

Rev. Fr. Jose Koyicakal, the Provincial, blessed and inaugurated the much-needed parking facility, while Fr. P.S. George, the Executive Director of BREADS, inaugurated the renovated office building, which was subsequently blessed by Fr. Shalbin, the Vice Provincial.

The new parking area addresses a long-standing challenge faced by parishioners during liturgical celebrations, providing much-needed convenience and accessibility. As a thoughtful tribute to Fr. Thomas Vailatt, a beloved contributor to the parish’s growth, one of the existing villas was renovated into office spaces and named Vailatt Bhavan in his honour. This renovation showcases the community’s commitment to preserving its heritage while advancing its infrastructure.

During the ceremony, the Fr. Provincial, Fr. Shalbin and Fr. George P.S expressed their heartfelt appreciation to all those who played pivotal roles in bringing this project to fruition. Special gratitude was extended to Fr. Jose, the Parish Priest, and Fr. Dilip, the Administrator, for their meticulous planning and leadership throughout the construction process.
