Triumphant Milestone: Don Bosco College Holds Glorious Convocation Ceremony Honoring Outstanding Graduates and Top Performers
Don Bosco Arts and Science College Angadikadavu, affiliated with Kannur University, Kerala, held its convocation ceremony on July 27 in the state-of-art college theatre, recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of its 307 graduates.
Ten university toppers, 5 A+ grade holders, and 70 A grade holders of 2020-23 UG and 2021- 23 PG outgoing batches were honoured. In addition to this, 5 A+ grade holders and 39 A grade holders of the current 4th semester UG students were also honoured with mementoes and certificates. The event commenced with a graceful procession.
Dr Mohammed Ismail, Controller of Examinations Kannur University, was the chief guest and Dr P K Prasadan, Syndicate member, Kannur University, was the keynote speaker for the event. “Do not forget the values taught to you by your institution and be a continuous learner,” said Dr Mohammed Ismail in his message to the graduates.
The college has proven its calibre by securing the best results in Kannur University in key UG and PG programmes. This year there are numerous rank holders from various departments; MA Journalism and Mass Communication secured the first nine ranks, MSW clinched the 1st and 2nd ranks, MSC Psychology secured the 1st and 3rd ranks, and BSW secured the first three.
The parents of the students were also present to witness the glorious ceremony. The proud and momentous graduation ceremony, being held for the first time, is a milestone in the history of the college.
