Twin Celebrations at Don Bosco ITI KGF

Don Bosco’s feast and the 60th birthday of Rev. Fr. Dominic Sequeira were celebrated at Don Bosco ITI KGF on February 3, 2023, from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. A solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Dominic Sequeira was held, in which the choir directed by Fr. Dinesh was heavenly.

After a short coffee break, the felicitations were conducted, during which the Father and Founder, Don Bosco, and Fr. Dominic Sequeira, were honoured. The chief guest Sri Rajan Babu, Scientist-V and Head of Department NIRM (National Institute of Rock Mechanics) in his message spoke of working assiduously, a quality which Don Bosco was known for.

The ITI students put up song and dance performances which were practised under the direction of the Principal, Fr. Dinesh and the staff. The Rector and Administrator Fr. Previnth Joe Tony with the help of Br. Jaison Joy organized lunch for the special guests (collaborators of the house and the family of Fr. Dominic Sequeira) and the students of the ITI. There were altogether 150 of them who took part in these twin celebrations.
