Vicar General visits Don Bosco Chitradurga

Rev. Fr. Stefano Martoglio, the Vicar of the Rector Major, visited Don Bosco Institutions at Chitradurga, on November 16, 2022, as part of his ongoing visits to the Don Bosco Institutions in the Bangalore Province in Kerala and Karnataka. The Vicar General and other guests were ushered in and welcomed by the staff and community at Don Bosco Chitradurga. Following this, the Vicar General blessed and inaugurated the new building extension at the Chitradurga campus.

A short formal programme was organized, at the ICSE Quadrangle, to welcome and felicitate Fr. Stefano Martoglio. The ICSE students performed a prayer dance to invoke the blessings of the almighty. Fr. Saji George, the Rector of Don Bosco Chitradurga, welcomed the gathering. Fr. Jose Koyickal, the Provincial, introduced the Vicar General to the audience. Fr. Stefano was felicitated during the event, and he shared a message with the community gathered at Chitradurga.

The programme concluded with a dance by the students from the Kannada Medium School and the Vote of Thanks. The Vicar General proceeded to visit the school and campus at Chitradurga before departing to the next venue.
