World Environment Day celebrated at Bosco Nilayam open shelter home

The program was presided over by Rev. Fr. P D Thomas, The Rector of Don Bosco Palluruthy & Inaugurated by Rev. Sr. Alphonsa, The Superior of Rosary Convent & School, Palluruthy. Master Joseph, the shelter home boy enlightened the group with an awareness talk on protecting the need of the environment. After the official function the children had an awareness rally and they made pledge of protecting the nature and the chief guest together with the children planted the saplings to promote the awareness of preserving the environment.

Bosco Nilayam shelter home boys had an exhibition on World Environment Day. Paintings were drawn by the inmates of Bosco Nilayam shelter home. Rev. Fr. P D Thomas, The Rector of Don Bosco inaugurated the exhibition. He appreciated the creativity of the children and congratulated them for their wonderful paintings.
