South Asian PDMAs and Parish Coordinators Gather for Annual Animation Meeting

28th to 29th October 2026:The two-day animation programme for the PDMAs and Parish Coordinators of the South Asian Region commenced at the Salesian Provincial House, Bangalore. The meeting was coordinated by Rev. Fr. Sunny, RDMA of South Asia, under the patronage of Rev. Fr. Joseph Pampakal, the Provincial In-charge of missionary animation in South Asia.
Rev. Fr. Shalbin, the Vice Provincial of INK celebrated the Holy Eucharist and, in his homily the celebrant emphasized our commitment to God and His people by narrating incidents from the lives of the two great apostles, St. Jude and St. Simon, whose feast day was celebrated. He invited everyone to follow Christ radically, even unto death. The session then paused for breakfast.
At the inaugural section held at the INK Provincial House Conference Hall, on behalf of the Province of Bangalore, Rev. Fr. Shalbin welcomed the participants, and Fr. Devasiya extended a warm welcome to the Provincial House community. Rev. Fr. Joy, the Provincial Economer of INK and Rev. Fr. Varghese, the PDMA of INK were present together with Rev. Fr. Sunny, RDMA of the South Asian Region, Rev. Fr. TC George, the resource person and the other representatives from the South Asian Provinces. The dignitaries were then formally welcomed with the traditional donning of shawls.
