Don Bosco Chullikkara Boys Make Their Mark in Kasaragod Senior Basketball League

The young basketball talents of Don Bosco Boys’ Home, Chullikkara, proudly represented the Chullikkara team under Yuvasakthi Arts and Sports Club, Attekandam in the Kasaragod Senior Basketball League held on October 23, 24 and 25.

As the youngest team in the league, the boys took on much older and more experienced opponents, demonstrating remarkable determination, confidence and sporting spirit. Their impressive performance against two senior teams drew the attention and appreciation of officials of the Kasaragod Basketball Association, making their participation a proud moment for Don Bosco Chullikkara.

Adding to this achievement, three of our students—Abhishikth Thomas, Rjin Robin and Leon Shijo—are set to represent Kasaragod district in the upcoming School Games basketball competitions.

Competing alongside seasoned players, these young athletes have demonstrated that age is no barrier to talent, courage and determination. Their performance marks an encouraging step forward in their basketball journey, reflecting the growing potential of young sporting talents nurtured through Don Bosco Chullikkara’s Sports for Change initiative.
