Maxmilian Kolbe church, Mangalam celebrates the feast of Christ the King

After the days of Novena the feast of Christ the King was celebrated on 19, 20, 21 November. The festal flag started fluttering on 19 November hoisted by Fr.Thomas Meckattuparambil the Parish Priest. The Bishop of Alappuzha Dr.James Anaparambil made his pastoral visit on 20^th November, during which he met with various groups and blessed the sick. He conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation to 100 Children. He also inaugurated the 50 member strong Children’s Choir, the only one of its kind in the Diocese of Alappuzha. The festive Mass was celebrated by the Bishop at 3.30 PM which was followed by a colorful procession.
