Don Bosco FA Revels in Victory

Don Bosco Football Academy marked its entry into professional football, bagging the Runner Up trophy in the Kerala Women’s League (KWL) 2021- 2022 through an outstanding performance. Kerala Women’s League, being one of the top most rated professional women’s football leagues in India, is an excellent platform for women footballers to further hone up their football skills. Six professional clubs across Kerala participated in the third season 2021-2022 of the league, which was organized by the Kerala Football Association (KFA).

The matches were conducted in the floodlit stadium at Thrissur from 11th December 2021 to 24th January 2022. It was preceded by a friendly celebrity women’s match, in which actors Reema Kallingal and Malavika Jayaram participated. Don Bosco FA team put forth a spectacular debut performance, against its rival teams, playing against the odds with inimitable team spirit and determination. Gokulam Kerala FC became the winners in the league,   thus securing the runners up trophy for Don Bosco FA. Luca SC, Kerala United FC, Travancore Royals FC and Kadathanadu Raja are the other teams which participated.
