DB Bhavan Mannuthy flags off Don Bosco World Cup Football League
With over 72 players forming eight teams bearing names of leading world football champions/countries, the Don Bosco World Cup Football League began at the Don Bosco Youth Centre of DB Bhavan, Mannuthy, on July 3, 2022.
The teams were formed through an auction of players for a total price of Five Lakh Rupees of Virtual Money. The matches scheduled for a period of three months, will be played on Sunday afternoons.
Under the dynamic leadership of the Bro Paul Gopurathinkal (Youth Centre Director) and Fr Thomas Koonan (Rector), the tournament took off to a colourful start in the presence of confreres and aspirants.
