Don Bosco College, Wayanad unveils the logo for ‘SODASHI’ Fest 2022
The logo unveiling ceremony of ‘SODASHI’, a National level Intercollegiate Fest organized by Don Bosco College, Wayanad, scheduled on the 13, 14 and 15th of October 2022, was beheld with great excitement and eagerness by the students and Faculty alike.
Wayanad Regional Transport Officer Mr Anoop Varki officially unveiled the logo, and Principal Fr. Dr Johnson Ponthempilly presided over the program.
The logo struck a commendable balance between ideology and aesthetics. ‘SODASHI’, a powerful word meaning wholeness and purity, indicates an active, jubilant and inclusive academic community. The logo emulates certain ideals like inclusiveness, working in symphony, and an intellectually and culturally stimulating academic environment with a striking and ambitious spirit. After the pandemic lull, SODASHI envisions inculcating the values of Universal Brotherhood and Togetherness by reconnecting intellectual and creative minds.
In connection with the ceremony, a vibrant flash mob was enacted and performed in the Gandhi Square at Sultan Bathery. More than a hundred fifty students ensured participation, enthralling the crowd with their energetic moves. The traders and industrialists of the town showed their immense support with great encouragement.
Fr. Antony Thekkedath, the Rector, Mr Antony PP, the Vice Principal, Fr. Jenson, Mr Mathew Varghese and Ms Sanitha I S, the Program Coordinators and Biju Thomas, the Program Manager, also marked their presence.
