Human trafficking is an open wound on the body of contemporary society; it is a crime against humanity :CHITRA Don Bosco

On 27th July 2023, the District Legal Services Authority under the collaboration of the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Police Department, Department of Women & Child Development, Social Welfare department, Health department, Labor department, District Child Protection Unit, Lawyer’s association and various departments conducted a one-day workshop on prevention of human trafficking. Respected Mrs. Manugoli Premavathi (Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chitradurga) inaugurated the workshop through watering the plant. Mr. Balachandra Naik (CPI, Rural Police station) was the resource person of the workshop. CWC president Mr. Prabhakar, DHO Mr. Ranganath, Social welfare officer Mr. Jagadish Hebballi, DCPO Mrs. Savitha C, Rev. Fr. Jomon (Principal of Don Bosco Degree College) and CHITHRA staff were present for the same.
