Curtains fall on a truly remarkable PC XVI

The PC XVI of the Salesian province of Bangalore concluded on the final day with several key moments. Firstly, the lectio divina animated by Fr. Benjamin, the novice master was a true moment of spiritual fraternity. The first order of the day was the approval of the chapter document and the document to be sent to the general council. After this was concluded, the chapter held the elections for the delegates of the General Chapter. Fr. Previnth and Fr. TC George were elected as delegates and Fr. Francis Karackatt and Fr. Bosco were elected as substitutes. In the felicitation that followed, the moderator- Fr. Previnth thanked all those who played a part in making PC XVI a truly prophetic experience for the chapter members. Fr Provincial thanked the moderator for the meticulous planning and for the arrangements done for the same. In the concluding Eucharist, Fr. Provincial invited the members of the chapter to carry the spirit of the Chapter to the communities and that we continue to live lives that are prophetic, reaching out to the young as Don Bosco did.
