Young Priests Meeting held at Don Bosco Provincial House Bangalore

The young priests of the quinquennium period gathered in Don Bosco Provincial House, Bangalore for three days of animation programme as customary every year from 25th-27th October 2024.

The focus this year was on bringing about awareness leading to self introspection on various addictive tendencies that arise in the lives of priests and religious such as addictions to Screen time, pornography and other such addictive behaviours. Various experts and resources dwelt on these themes to drive home the need to be cautious and also seek help in overcoming such tendencies. The second day also saw a pilgrimage to Shivaji Nagar and participating in a rosary procession with the faithful. Fr. Provincial addressed the Young Priests and also highlighted the need to seek a mature way of being Priests in todays world in order to be truly fruitful. The meticulous planning and organization by Fr. Shalbin the vice provincial enabled this event in being a truly enriching one for all those involved.
