DREAM Review Meeting for Directors and Staff
The Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) organized a meeting on 16 January 2025 at Don Bosco, Sultan Bathery, for its programme directors and staff from ten districts of Kerala. This meeting was specifically focused on the DREAM Project, which aims to prevent drug abuse among children and youth in Kerala and is nearing the end of its first phase.
The meeting was of particular significance as it included external evaluators from the Department of Social Work at Rajagiri College, Ernakulam. The discussions centered around the project’s outreach, impact, and the criteria for external evaluation. Ms. Susanne Arzt, Project Manager at DB Mondo, Germany, participated online to assess the project and engage in discussions with the DREAM team.
The meeting provided an opportunity for programme directors and staff to clarify the evaluation process, share the successes and impacts of the project, and discuss best practices and challenges faced during its implementation.
The meeting was attended by Fr. George (Executive Director, BREADS), the DREAM District Directors, Dr. Reena M. Cherian (Assistant Professor, RCSS), Fr. Jolly and Ms. Lija (PhD scholars, RCSS), Mr. Benny Augustin (Project Manager, BREADS), Mr. Joshua David (MIS & ME Coordinator, DREAM), Mr. Anoopraj (State Coordinator, DREAM), and other DREAM staff members.
