Renewal of Religious Profession and Vestition at Don Bosco, Mysore

In a solemn and grace-filled ceremony, sixteen Salesians clerics renewed their Religious Profession on 22 May 2025 at 7:00 a.m. at Don Bosco, Mysore. The event was marked by deep devotion and joyful celebration as the young Salesians reaffirmed their commitment to live according to the evangelical counsels in the spirit of Don Bosco.

The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Fr. Jose Thomas Koyickal, Provincial of the Sacred Heart Province of Bangalore. A special moment during the celebration was the reception of the cassock by Br. Sandesh Deshappa, signifying his continued journey toward the priesthood.

Also present on the occasion were Fr. Shalbin Kalanchery, Vice Provincial, along with other Salesian priests and invited guests. In preparation for this meaningful event, the brothers participated in a day of spiritual recollection preached by Fr. Antony James Paul SDB, which helped them enter into the renewal with prayerful reflection and spiritual fervour.
