World Day against Trafficking of Persons

The programme was organised at the Railway Station AC Waiting Hall at 11.30 am by the Railway Department and the District Administration, District Legal Services Authority, District Child Protection Unit, Child Helpline 1098 members and Don Bosco. Hon’ble Justice Shrinivas Navale, Member Secretary, Legal Services Authority, Kalaburagi, delivered the Pledge of Allegiance. Handbills on prevention of child and human trafficking were released on the occasion. Ms. Manjula Patil DCPO, Mr. Shivasharanappa, Women Officers Women and Child Development Department, Sri Gupta RPF Police Kalaburagi, GRPF Police, Sri Mohan Manager Railway Department, Sri Sharanappa Halimani also were present to grace the occasion. The programme was attended by Labour Department officials, Santosh Kulkarni, Director, State Child Labour Project Association, Fr Kuriakose, Director, Don Bosco, Sri Anand Raj and all the staff of Don Bosco and staff of District Child Protection Unit and Child Helpline team.
