Educational Exposure 2025–26: Students Explore Naval Base Kochi & Aviation Hub at Vennala

It gives me great pride and excitement to present a report on our unforgettable educational journey on 11th November 2025 to the Naval Base, Kochi and the Aviation Academy at Vennala.

Our day began with a sense of thrill as we reached the Southern Naval Command Base in Kochi, one of the most important and prestigious naval bases in India. The moment we entered, we were surrounded by an atmosphere of discipline, dedication, and pride. We were warmly welcomed by naval officers who guided us through the vast premises and explained the significance of the base in protecting our nation’s maritime frontiers.

One of the highlights of the visit was our tour of the Cochin Shipyard, where we saw the incredible process of shipbuilding and maintenance. Watching the giant vessels being constructed and repaired before our eyes was truly awe-inspiring. It gave us a glimpse into the hard work and precision that go into creating the powerful ships that safeguard our seas.

Next, we were introduced to various naval aircraft and training jets stationed at the base. Each aircraft had its own unique purpose, from reconnaissance and rescue to training and defence. What made the experience even more special was that naval pilots themselves explained to us the features and functions of these aircraft. Listening to their experiences and learning about how they train and operate filled us with admiration for their courage, skill, and commitment.
