Jesus Youth – Trekking and Spiritual Day of Renewal Date in January 2026 (one-day event)

Around 57 vibrant members of the Jesus Youth Bangalore unit arrived by 11 a.m. for a meaningful day of adventure and faith at Don Bosco Ajjanahalli. Warmly welcomed by Fr. Gilbert and Fr. Anand with snacks, the group set off with Fr. Gilbert to the nearby Siddeswar Betta for an invigorating trek.
Atop the hill, animated by Mr. Amen Paul and Ms. Jesna, they shared inspiring reflections on the life of Pope John Paul II—stories of courage, faith, and transformation that touched every heart. Returning to the campus, the group gathered on our own mountain for a unique Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Gilbert, surrounded by nature’s quiet beauty.
A hearty lunch nourished body and soul, followed by peaceful silence in the Taizé prayer room—a rare moment of stillness amid the day’s energy. By 3:15 p.m., the group departed for Bangalore, carrying the glow of a short yet profoundly enriching experience of trek, prayer, and community.
