World Environment Day Celebration at Don Bosco School, Bablade

Don Bosco School, Bablade celebrated World Environment Day on 8 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and awareness. The event was held with active participation from students, staff, and distinguished guests.

The program was graced by Mr. Gururaj Kamatra, Forest Range Officer, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Jayaprakash Kattimani and Mr. Amaresh from Scouts and Guides were the Guests of Honour.

The celebration began with a sapling planting ceremony led by the Chief Guest, followed by a speech from Mr. Gururaj Kamatra highlighting the importance of forest conservation and individual responsibility towards nature. Mr. Jayaprakash Kattimani and Mr. Amaresh conducted an interactive session on the role of Scouts and Guides in environmental protection.

The event concluded with an oath-taking ceremony where all participants pledged to reduce waste and protect greenery.

The Principal thanked the guests and appreciated the efforts of teachers and students in making the program meaningful. The celebration instilled a strong sense of environmental responsibility among students.
