Don Bosco Makkalalaya Social Worker Honoured at World Against Child Labour Day Rally

On 12th June, in observance of the World Against Child Labour, we actively participated in an awareness rally organized by the Labour Department, Mysuru. The rally commenced near Mysore Palace and concluded at Maharaja’s College, with the objective of raising public awareness about the eradication of child labour and the promotion of child rights. The rally was inaugurated by Usharani, Honorable Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Mysuru.

The stage program was presided over by Nagaraj Siddappa Ankasadoddi, Principal Senior Civil Judge and Chief Judicial Magistrate, along with officials from the Labour Department and representatives from various government departments. During the program, Mr. Emmanuel C. of Don Bosco Makkalalaya was honored by the Labour Department with the Best Social Worker Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to child welfare and social service in Mysuru district. Following the event, photographs and event documentation were systematically updated and archived in the respective folders. News reports covering the rally and award ceremony were shared with various newspapers and media outlets. Printed copies of the published news articles were collected and filed for organizational records and future reference.

The day concluded with the completion of reporting, documentation, and record-maintenance activities related to the event.
